In addition to our conventional developmental activities with our various partners, we also produce eco-friendly and organic tribal products consisting of honey and vinegar. We do this through Maikal Hills Natural Products Company(MHNPC). The company, set up and registered in 2005, is a non-profit organization that empowers the Bhil and Gond community by giving them access to livelihood options and establishing both forward and backward linkages, linking them with the companies and FPOs at the apex level.
OUR CSR INITIATIVES WITH OUR
CORPORATE PARTNERS
We strongly believe that the voluntary sector in India is the unrecognized fifth pillar of democracy, devoted to good governance. At Card, we not only believe in sustainable development and acknowledge the role of government & the corporate sector in the overall development but also understand the limitations of the government & the private players to provide development and relief where they are needed the most. Understanding the needs of the corporate sector to contribute to the development of society, we work along with our corporate partners & act as facilitators of the development process for the upliftment of the rural population. We specialize in improving the corporations' existing delivery mechanisms and increasing their outreach and impact by providing soft participatory skills and technical project execution skills. We believe in complementing the mainstream development process rather than competing to have a more significant impact. The sustainability of this approach largely depends on empowering communities to participate at all levels and bringing in attitudinal change by disseminating knowledge and imbibing participatory skills amongst various development stakeholders. This is where an interface is required and where CARD with its sector-specific specialization comes in. Learn more about our CSR projects and partnerships below.
