In addition to our conventional developmental activities with our various partners, we also produce eco-friendly and organic tribal products consisting of honey and vinegar. We do this through Maikal Hills Natural Products Company(MHNPC). The company, set up and registered in 2005, is a non-profit organization that empowers the Bhil and Gond community by giving them access to livelihood options and establishing both forward and backward linkages, linking them with the companies and FPOs at the apex level.
Executory Management/ Middle Management
The Middle management is accountable for executing and regulating systems and outcomesgenerated by the decisions of the Executive Board and are liable for all the actions of the topmanagement. Their principal task is to ensure that Program Managers/ Project Officers performtheir tasks diligently, timely, and as per the committed targets, and above all they ensure that theproject activities and programs align with our goal and mission statement and the principles andcore values of CARD are not compromised. As Thematic/ Department Heads/ Project Holders/Principal Coordinators they have to ensure smooth operations through their leadership skills andstrategic direction that can improve outputs and outcomes, and bring positive impact.
He is Graduate with Economics and MBA Finance and as Finance Manager of the organisation from the beginning he almost single handedly carried out all the burden of expectations of a growing organisation during the first decade of its growth. He is the most hardworking, sincere and yet least noticed member of the organisation. With single approach of serving the organisation and just achieving whatever be the targets and getting things done, his dedication towards the work make him a role model for all. Sandeep Rai, a development professional with 14+ years of experience in the community development sector, has worked on watershed management, livelihood protection, micro-entrepreneurship, women empowerment & vocational education. He is an M.Phil in Sociology from Vikram University Ujjain and a Master of Rural Management (MBA) from Jiwaji University Gwalior, and has worked with various NGOs across the country on livelihood projects. His experience in working with government departments comes in handy in his current role as program manager of the skill cell. The skill cell at CARD encompasses projects across many districts in Madhya Pradesh including, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Dindori, Ujjain, Mandla.

M.Phil in Geography he has long grassroots experience in livelihoods and enterprise Development. As program coordinator in livelihood and watershed management projects, he is at his best when in team. In his aura of work ethics and devotion to work, his team brings out the best results. He specializes in varied fields from Watershed Management and Rural Entreprises to Wise Water Management and WASH. Presently he is involved in handholding of field staff across various projects.

With Masters in Sociology he made a quite entry in CARD but rose to be its Regional Coordinator with his pragmatic approach, witty planning and liaising ability. He specialises in livelihoods and watershed rehabilitation, but a managerial instinct and a multi-tasking performance at work, makes him the master of all trades. He was able to guide and lead 6 multi-disciplinary projects with around 25 professional staff in Mandla. He is instrumental in building the first training centre of CARD (MHLRC) and demanostration plots of agriculture and NTFP in CARD campus in Ghughri (Mandla). As Associate Fellow in CARD he is presently Head of Samruddhi programme in Dewas.

He’s a Senior Program Executive in NRM and Capacity Building. With a master’s degree in Botany and along with his wisdom and profound knowledge, his ability to internalize the subject proves to be an important resource for the organisation. His spirituality, which he has in his life, is well exhibited in his work. He heads all the farming based livelihood projects of CARD in the Bhil tribe predominant Dhar region which include enterprenureship development, sustainable agriculture and farmer producer organisation.

Lokesh is a graduate in Commerce with Computer Applications and MBA (Finance), he joined CARD as an Accountant in Tejaswini Project in 2008. While working with the community to improve their lifestyle towards agriculture & other issues at village level, he gained crucial experience of accountancy and management. He is now a Member of CARD Core team for Administration and District Coordinator (Mandla)

He is the Data analyst of the organisation. He’s innovative in accessing information and technology and has strong skills for data analysis. He has been successfully managing large sample studies of CARD for almost 18 years now. His zeal for doing work makes him available for any work at any time, making him an all-rounder. But most important is his level of contentment in serving the voluntary sector.
