We do this through Maikal Hills Natural Products Company(MHNPC). The company, set up and registered in 2005, is a non-profit organization that empowers the Bhil and Gond community by giving them access to livelihood options and establishing both forward and backward linkages, linking them with the companies and FPOs at the apex level.

Masters in Human Rights and MBA in Human Resource Management, Anil associated with CARD since 2007 as Training Coordinator at Maikal Hills Livelihood Resource Centre involved in development of training modules for different training programs, arranging trainings on various income generating activities and conducting exposure visits for various project beneficiaries and overall administration and control of the training center and hostel. He is a proficient trainer in NTFP based livelihood promotion, Watershed Rehabilitation and Sustainable Agriculture.

She had been engaged with the government of Madhya Pradesh as a Chief Minister’s Research Associate & worked closely with the district administration. Currently at CARD, She is managing Women + Water Alliance program of USAID and GAP Inc .In addition to bringing in her expertise, she is engaged in study with University of California covering the impact of Climate Change wrt changes in water table in one of our geographies
Shivani Sharma

With Masters in Sociology he made a quite entry in CARD but rose to be its Regional Coordinator with his pragmatic approach, witty planning and liaising ability. He specialises in livelihoods and watershed rehabilitation, but a managerial instinct and a multi-tasking performance at work, makes him the master of all trades. He was able to guide and lead 6 multi-disciplinary projects with around 25 professional staff in Mandla. He is instrumental in building the first training centre of CARD (MHLRC) and demanostration plots of agriculture and NTFP in CARD campus in Ghughri (Mandla). As Associate Fellow in CARD he is presently Head of Samruddhi programme in Dewas.

Sandeep Rai, a development professional with 14+ years of experience in the community development sector, has worked on watershed management, livelihood protection, micro-entrepreneurship, women empowerment & vocational education. He is an M.Phil in Sociology from Vikram University Ujjain and a Master of Rural Management (MBA) from Jiwaji University Gwalior, and has worked with various NGOs across the country on livelihood projects. His experience in working with government departments comes in handy in his current role as program manager of the skill cell. The skill cell at CARD encompasses projects across many districts in Madhya Pradesh including, Balaghat, Chhindwara, Dindori, Ujjain, Mandla.

He’s a Senior Program Executive in NRM and Capacity Building. With a master’s degree in Botany and along with his wisdom and profound knowledge, his ability to internalize the subject proves to be an important resource for the organisation. His spirituality, which he has in his life, is well exhibited in his work. He heads all the farming based livelihood projects of CARD in the Bhil tribe predominant Dhar region which include enterprenureship development, sustainable agriculture and farmer producer organisation.

Associated with CARD since 2009 and has served in various capacities; WUA strengthening, WASH and school sanitation under SSA, Aids Control, etc. He has also served as National Trainer for Census-2011 in the Chhatisgarh region. Presently he is associated in sensitising higher education department personnel in various aspects of school based water and senitation.

He is now a Member of CARD Core team for Accounts & Administration and is District Coordinator (Mandla).
A well-rounded social development professional, Dinesh has 15 years of experience in the Social Sector. He has worked on different developmental themes ranging from Micro Finance for villagers, Child welfare to Women Empowerment and capacity building of SHGs. He joined CARD in 2017 as a part of the PMKK initiation team and has risen to be the Centre Manager of PMKK Balaghat since 2020. As the centre manager, he coordinates the full group, overseeing operations the complete operations. He enjoys being close to nature, in his free time going out for nature walks, and never missing his daily yoga.

MBA in Rural & Disaster Management from Kalinga University, Raipur (CG), Rama Shankar Garg started his journey with us as a master trainer (IT) in the PMKK centre at Dindori. His data analysis, team management, and IT skills made him stand out, and when the position of centre manager became available, he was a natural fit. Since 2019, he is leading all our activities in Dindori for skill programs (PMKK and EST&P- NULM) and CFT (Cluster Facilitation Team) programs involving project monitoring and reporting. In his free time he leads environmental conservation and awareness practices such as tree plantation drives.
